Game rules and hand rankings
Ceme uses 28 domino tiles. Each tile has two ends with pips (dots) from 0 to 6. In each round, the dealer draws four tiles and distributes two to each player. Players combine their two tiles to form a hand value. The highest hand wins.
Hand values are calculated by adding the pips on both tiles and taking the last digit. For example, a tile with 6 pips and a tile with 5 pips totals 11—the hand value is 1. A tile with 6 and a tile with 6 totals 12—the hand value is 2. The best hand is 9 (called "Ceme" or "nine"). The second-best is 8, then 7, and so on down to 0.
